Kyle Rayner was always one of my favorite DC heroes. we all know the crap he got (replacing his idol) from fans after Hal Jordan, the original Green Lantern, went nuts, died, became Parallax and all that. his chemistry with Wally West in the Grant Morrison JLA reboot was always a treat to watch out for each month.
with Hal Jordan's Rocky-like comeback, will there still be a place for Kyle in the DCU?
rumblings here and there for the past few months have it that Red Hood (Jason Todd), Donna Troy and Kyle are anomalies in this universe, and they should be wiped out (go read 52 and the ongoing sequel, Countdown). i'm pretty sure DC mega-architect Geoff Johns has something big up his sleeve. after all, this is the guy that spectacularly brought back Jordan.
but if there's one thing i'd ask ... don't kill Kyle off, Geoff.

this does not look good ... (Sinestro's back)
this is akin to a prison break-in, and if you got dozens of rings going about looking for replacements, this is getting worse ...
no, Geoff, you did not!!!!
i don't know which is worse now, killing off Kyle Rayner (who experienced the unthinkable, for him - knowing fear) or making him the new host for Parallax.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuugh!
