after meeting my European idols in last month's con, i noted in that post that i will sing and dance on top of the Empire State Building when Mr. Djurdjevic finally does interior artwork. not too long after that, Thor #8 fell into my lap and i felt sheepish to be even putting out a bet like that.
maybe we should revise the bet ... i will sing and dance when he goes on a long run on interiors (just like Mr. Maleev did on Daredevil).
and i can see that Djurdjevic's interiors are worthy of his covers. Joe Q, lock them both down to work for Marvel until they die. seriously.

he draws a mean Jane Foster too (and that's a compliment)
Djurdjevic's art seems to fit better in fantasy books like Thor, which says also a lot about my nod of approval of its current direction.
Thor & Odin vs. Surtur (nuff said)
i know; time is always the issue (exhibit A: Bryan Hitch). but i hope they'll be doing the monthlies for years to come.
