better late than later

unless they posted it online in some spymalware-infested buggy uncrawled website just waiting for you to accidentally drive by and infect your pc with its spymalware goodness, DC has been quite remiss (to be polite) in putting up their Comic Con signing schedule ahead of time. (is a day or two not reasonable for you?)

i just found Marvel's just a little while ago, while Image, Dark Horse and Top Cow had theirs a bit earlier.

individual creators do blog their skeds but that's sporadic. we would appreciate it if we fans get to know the schedule way ahead of time so we can plan which books are we lugging in cold weather, so as not to look like an elementary schoolboy hauling a huge sack of rocks (the updated version is the comicbook store hog who brings a whole rolling luggage of comics so he can sell them for a tidy profit - booooooo!). have mercy on us, you raised your prices to *cough* $3.99 *cough*; don't send us for an unexpected visit to the chiropractor, all just because we want you to sign our books.

and of course, last-minute cancellations merit another boo, but oh well, that can't be helped, can it?

its already 11.30 and am still stumbling around, Dan DiDio ...
